Ingredients

  • 3 large Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup Green Peas, fresh or frozen
  • 1.5 tbsp Raj Super Masala Sabji Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Raj Super Masala Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Raj Super Masala Dhaniya Powder
  • 1 cup Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • Fresh Coriander leaves for garnish
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. 01

    Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

  2. 02

    Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.

  3. 03

    Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy.

  4. 04

    Add Raj Super Masala Sabji Masala, Turmeric Powder, Dhaniya Powder, and salt. Stir to bloom spices in oil.

    Add potato cubes and green peas. Sauté with masala base for 2 minutes.

    Pour in 1.5 cups of water. Cover and cook until potatoes are tender.

  7. 07

    Slightly mash a few potato pieces to thicken the gravy. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with poori.
